About V Squad
V Squad has been developed to fill a void in the development of talented Victorian junior footballers between the Auskick program and the Under 15 Development Squads.
The philosophy of our program and approach is mirrored in the AFL elite development pathway and is based on creating a holistic learning environment for our members. We have followed the AFL/AIS curriculum which is an age appropriate development program.
The V Squad education program has evolved to bring together the best educators and coaches to deliver age appropriate educational content to a talented group of junior athletes to develop well rounded athletes and people. All of our educators and coaches have a strong teaching background and have been involved in other advanced sporting programs.
The V Squad program is designed to develop talented Victorian junior footballers as athletes, players and people. The lessons learnt throughout the program will better prepare them for sport, school and life. We will take talented footballers and make them better, on and off the field.
The V Squad Education Program curriculum was developed with assistance from AFL Victoria.
The Victorian Institute of Sport
The Victorian Institute of Sport (VIS) Athlete Career and Education (ACE) Program provides consultancy advice and the delivery of the personal development sessions to the VSquad.
The VIS ACE Program looks to continue the valuable industry partnership with VSquad.
